Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about our platform, launch, and how we make company learning simpler

The Learning Road is an eLearning platform for company learning — designed to be easy to use from day one. It helps you onboard staff, run mandatory and compliance training, give people access to ready-made courses, build your own content around how your business works, and see who has completed what through reporting and training matrices.

We built it because too many learning systems feel clunky and get in the way. Ours puts simplicity first, without sacrificing what you actually need to run training properly.

Any organisation that needs to train people — we are not tied to one industry. Whether you are in healthcare, social care, construction, hospitality, retail, education, or something else entirely, if you need to develop staff and stay on top of compliance, The Learning Road is built for you.

In practice that often means HR and people teams, learning and development, compliance and quality roles, and line managers who need a clear view of their team's training — without wrestling with the software.

Many platforms are overcomplicated, hard to customise for your own company, and light on the integrations you rely on day to day. They were often built years ago on dated technology.

The Learning Road is built around four ideas: intuitive design, seamless integrations with tools you already use, full control over your own courses and content, and modern technology from a team with a strong track record in successful software. We want eLearning to feel straightforward — not like a second job for administrators.

Not quite — we are in a pre-launch phase while we finalise the product. Organisations can book a demo now, see what is coming, and register interest for go-live.

Early customers will benefit from launch support and onboarding help as we open the doors properly. If you would like to be among the first in, book a demo and we will keep you informed.

Yes. A core part of our vision is that your training should reflect your company — your policies, processes, and standards — not only generic off-the-shelf modules.

You will be able to build and manage your own materials, structure learning in a way that suits you, add assessments where they matter, and assign content to the right people or teams. That sits alongside a library of ready-made professional courses, so you get both breadth and your own bespoke content in one place.

Yes. Reporting and training matrices are part of the product — so you can see progress, spot gaps, and evidence compliance without spreadsheets taking over.

You can expect visibility over completion, mandatory training status, and team-level views that help managers and central teams stay organised. Export and audit-friendly outputs are part of the thinking, too.

Yes. Mandatory and compliance training is a focus area. You can assign what people must complete, set deadlines and renewals where needed, remind learners (and managers) when things are due, and track completion in one system.

That helps you reduce risk, stay inspection-ready, and spend less time chasing certificates and manual records.

We design with integrations in mind so your eLearning platform works alongside the rest of your stack, not as an island.

Exact integrations will be confirmed as we approach launch; if you have specific tools or identity providers you must connect to, mention them when you book a demo and we can walk through fit and roadmap.

At launch we plan a solid library of professional courses covering areas such as health and safety, compliance topics, core business skills, leadership and management, and other common training needs — with room to grow based on what customers ask for.

Those sit next to anything you create yourself, so one platform covers both standard content and material that only makes sense inside your organisation.

Email us at info@thelearningroad.com with your name, organisation, and a short note on what you want to achieve with training. We will come back to arrange a time.

In a typical demo we show you around the product, discuss your priorities (onboarding, compliance, custom content, reporting, and so on), and answer your questions. Sessions are usually around 30–45 minutes and tailored to you.

Each customer organisation will have its own secure space. Your administrators will manage users and permissions in line with how you run training today.

We expect to support sensible security defaults — for example role-based access, strong password practice, and single sign-on (SSO) where you use an identity provider. Final options will be confirmed at launch; if SSO or particular security standards matter to you, raise them when you book a demo.

We are a product team that cares about you actually getting value — not just going live and disappearing. You can expect structured onboarding help, documentation, and a route to technical support when you need it.

Early customers will get extra attention while we bed everything in. Details of tiers and channels will be shared ahead of full launch; the demo is a good place to ask what support will look like for your size of organisation.
